The RWA ladder

A passport is never reduced to a single score. It is described step by step, and each step carries its own status, its own evidence and the named witness who attested to it.

Verification completeness is not the same as safety or investment quality. Each step describes only what a named witness attested to, at a point in time.

Witnesses and attestations

Only approved witnesses can attest to a step, and every attestation records the witness identity, the step, the evidence it refers to, the statement made, the time it was signed and any expiry. Attestations can expire, be revoked or be disputed; when that happens the step stops counting as verified but the record stays in the passport history. SCALAE never issues attestations on a project's behalf.

Milestones and funding

Projects can define milestones tied to ladder steps. A milestone describes what must be proven, what evidence is required and what changes once it is verified. Milestones are the honest alternative to promises: they are published up front and their status is auditable.

Claim keys

A claim key is a specific, enforceable statement of what a holder can redeem, and under which conditions and limits. Claim keys are only publishable when the Claim step of the ladder is verified, and every redemption records who redeemed what and when.

Tokens are not the asset

Unless explicitly stated in legally reviewed terms, this project token does not represent ownership of the referenced asset, equity, debt, shares, redemption rights or a claim against its issuer.
